S. WILLIAMS/A. Radwanska 6‑1, 5‑7, 6‑2

Q. Put your experience out there today in your own words, please.

AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA: Like I said on court as well, these are the best two weeks of my life. When practicing and playing tennis all your life, I think it’s a dream for everyone to be in the final.

So basically for sure I’m just very happy. Of course it’s always disappointing to lose, especially after a tough and good match. But so very happy about my final.

Q.  What was your assessment of the match?

AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA:  Well, uhm, first of all, just very happy that it was my first semifinal.  Of course in the beginning also a bit nervous, of course.  I think we both were.

A. RADWANSKA/M. Kirilenko 7‑5, 4‑6, 7‑5

Q.  That was a very long day, hard‑fought match.  Talk about the process of starting, going off, finishing.

AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA:  Yeah.  I felt like today was at least 25 hours for me.  It’s always difficult.  It’s always tough because you really have to stay focused whole day, going on and off all the time.  It’s never easy, especially that it was really long match and very tough one.

Finally we switched the court for the indoor court.  Felt so different.  Without rain, without wind, it’s really just different tournament.

But I’m just very happy that I could win it.

Q.  What are your thoughts on reaching the next round and on the match that you had today?

AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA:  Well, I’m just very happy that I can play another quarterfinal here at Wimbledon.

Of course, about today’s match, it’s always tough to play someone you don’t know.  Never really even saw her before, but I must say that she was really playing good and she’s a very good player.  I think she can really play good tennis and should be on top, yeah.

A. RADWANSKA/M. Rybarikova 6‑3, 6‑3

Q.  Was it much harder than you think the scoreline suggested?

AGNIESZKA RADWANSKA:  Yes, I think so.  It was a long match for those two sets, especially on grass.  You know, also, the first match is always very difficult, different courts and different tournament, and also that court was actually much slower than the others.  And also a lot of breaks.

So it was a bit of a weird match, but I’m just very happy I could close it.  I was in a little bit of trouble in the second set, but…
